Regeneration can't be rushed - Treasury

Treasury Minister Allan Bell (pictured) says nowhere in the Island can lay claim to any money for town centre regeneration yet.

He says he understands the scheme isn’t coming about quickly enough for some people, but the work can’t be rushed.

In this year’s budget he announced ?8 million would be spent by the government to spruce up the Island’s town centres.

But he refuted rumours that money has already been allocated:
