TETRA hits five million mark

The Manx Grand Prix marked a milestone for the Island’s hi-tech radio system.

The TETRA system handled its five millionth call since going live in April 2004.

More than 20 organisations within the government use the system, including police, fire crews, paramedics and race marshals.
