Pensions dialogue needed

The Trades Union Council says it hopes government will enter into dialogue on public service pensions.

The Council admits the problem is a complex one, with its roots in the fact that people are living longer and therefore making a larger draw on the schemes than they were originally designed for.

Trades Union Council President Bernard Moffatt (pictured) says a petition is now being launched among public sector workers for goverment to see the strength of feeling on the issue:
