Two windows smashed in Douglas

Police are appealing for information after the main front window of a Douglas high street shop was smashed.

Some time between 6pm on Friday and 7am on Saturday, someone broke the main front window of Pickwicks on Duke Street with an unknown implement.

If you know anything about this act of criminal damage call police on 631212.

Meanwhile, one of the front windows of Tower House on Douglas Promenade was broken at around 11pm on Friday.

Police say there is a suspect, described as a male wearing a white top and black trousers.

Investigating Officer Richard Cretney is urging anyone who was on the prom around that time to come forward.
