Fire crews from the north and west of the Island were called out to Ramsey, Ballaugh and Sulby on Friday to deal with flooding.
Some properties in Ramsey had to be pumped out following the high tide.
In other affected areas, streams and culverts failed to cope with the increased volume of water and overflowed, causing localised flooding.
Crews cleared obstructions to allow water to flow freely and used pumps and sandbags to protect properties where necessary.
Civil Defence volunteers assisted and also set up and ran a rest centre for campers from Glen Wyllin, who had to be housed overnight.
The Fire Service is reminding you to take care in the current bad weather, especially when driving as there may be areas of standing water.
You should also make sure all drains near your property are clear and running properly in case there are further downpours.
