Thomas the Tank Engine weekend

It's 'All Aboard!' at Douglas Railway station as Thomas the Tank Engine Weekend continues today (Sunday).

Children can get-up close to their favourite engines, carriages and characters from the stories - and there's a chance to meet the Fat Controller.

Train rides will go about half a mile from Douglas and are completely free.

The Department of Transport's John Kennaugh is urging people to come down and join in a variety of fun activities between 10am and 4.30pm (audio file attached):
