TT sidecar star in fatal crash

by isleofman.com 8th September 2008
More details are emerging about the death of sidecar ace Steve Norbury, who was involved in a fatal crash at Hockenheim in Germany yesterday.

The eleven-time TT podium finisher was racing in the latest round of the German Championship.

Fellow TT competitor Nicky Crowe says he's spoken to Tim Reeves, who was behind Steve going into the corner where the crash happened.

But they're still not exactly sure of the circumstances surrounding it: (audio clip attached)

Manx Radio understands Steve Norbury's passenger Rick Long suffered leg injuries in the crash, but nothing more is known at this stage.
