Treasury Minister Allan Bell has given a cautious welcome to the Island’s latest inflation figures.
The government’s statistics show August’s rate was 6.4 per cent, down just 0.1 per cent on July.
But the figures are encouraging after fears the index would continue to rise until at least Christmas.
