Greenlight 'surprised' to lose contract

Staff at Greenlight Television say it’s not the end of the world, following news they haven’t been given the contract to film the TT for the next five years.

It was announced yesterday that a British Company, North One Television, will provide the coverage from next year until 2013.

It’s part of a drive by the Manx Government to improve the profits from the event.

Director of Greenlight Television Richard Nicholls (pictured) says it’s a blow, but it’s not all bad news:
