Powerboats lined up for inspection

by isleofman.com 12th September 2008
Preparations for the big powerboat race at the weekend have led to the closure of the cycle path on Douglas Promenade.

But hundreds of people will be drawn to the impressive machinery, set up in line on the footway near the Jubilee clock.

There are also exhibitions and displays relating to the various companies involved.

It's the final event of the Honda Formula 4 Stroke Series, so a lot rests on it.

The weather is set to improve this weekend.
