Meeting to consider future of hotel

by isleofman.com 12th September 2008
A bid to re-open a popular restaurant and bar in the west of the Island will be made this evening.

A requisition meeting has been called by Dalby residents, concerned about the future of the Ballacallin Hotel.

The facility closed about a year ago and last month plans were submitted for change of use.

One of the residents, Margie Killey, says the facility is important both for tourism and community use (audio file attached):

The requisition meeting will be at St James’ Hall, Dalby at 7.30pm.
