Meeting wants hotel to stay

by isleofman.com 12th September 2008
More than 40 people attended last night's requisition meeting in Dalby, called after local residents raised concerns about the future of the Ballacallin Hotel.

The facility closed last year and the owners have applied for a change of use.

Dalby resident Margy Killey says people at the meeting all felt they didn't want to lose the building in its current form.

It was felt it wouldn't make a good family home and a business there could be made to flourish (audio file attached):

Margy Killey was speaking to John Hines on Mandate.
