Dog could be put down on Tuesday!

The MSPCA have described the American Pit Bull terrier - which faces being put down next week - as a well-balanced, happy and friendly dog.

The breed is banned in the Isle of Man and the deadline to find a new home for Champ in Ireland expires on Tuesday.

The dog was brought here five years ago but has been in kennels since he came to DAFF's notice.

Manager of the MSPCA Lynne Renshaw says they've had no problems with Champ - but his prospects don't look good (audio file attached):
