Manx family home evacuated

A Manx Industry space executive has spoken of his concern after his family home was evacuated to avoid Hurricane Ike.

Chris Stott, who lives in Southern Houston with wife Nicole and son Roman, was out of town when the warning came and his family were moved to Tampa.

The powerful storm's thought to have killed at least two people, caused
widespread flooding and swept away houses and a massive search and relief operation is underway.

Speaking from Gatwick Airport, Chris says his thoughts are with friends and neighbours (audio file attached):
