School reopens after viral outbreak

The outbreak of Norovirus that caused a school in the Isle of Man to close appears to have been contained.

Rushen Primary School (pictured) was closed on Friday as more than 70 pupils were infected with the highly contagious virus.

Most students have now returned to their classrooms, although 29 are still absent, some with other illnesses such as colds.
