IOM as an alternative destination?

There's room for expansion in the Island's tourist industry.

That's the view from a leading local travel agent following the collapse of several worldwide tour operators including Zoom, Futura and more recently XL.

Brian Kelly from Mann Link Travel says confidence in the travel industry is low in the United Kingdom and he is encouraging tourist chiefs to do more to get people to come to the Isle of Man for their holidays.

He says the Island really has a lot to offer despite the cost of getting here:
