Fire station nears completion

A fire station in Romania which will house three donated Manx fire engines should be completed soon.

Earlier this year firefighters, led by former Deputy Chief Fire Officer Bruce Kirkham, travelled to the former communist country.

And he will be returning for the official opening of the station.

Volunteer Rosa Drown from Castletown, who is in Romania, says there has been a slight delay (audio file attached):
