by isleofman.com 19th September 2008
The funeral will take place next week of David Teece.

Considered one of the greatest athletes the Isle of Man has ever produced, he died last week at the age of 40, leaving wife Sandrina and children Nathan, Elliott and Carla.

He represented the Isle of Man at the 1990 Commonwealth Games in Auckland and his time of 48.38 seconds - recorded at Derby on May 1, 1989 - is still the Manx record for the 400 metres.

The funeral will be at at St Mary’s Church, Douglas at 1pm on Tuesday, September 23.
