Family History exhibition today

by isleofman.com 19th September 2008
The jobs Islanders carried out both on and off-Island will be explored as the Isle of Man Family History Society’s annual exhibition opens at Castletown Civic Centre this afternoon (Friday).

Running until Sunday, it features a number of displays and memorabilia.

It also provides an opportunity to carry out research into family trees.

Society secretary Pat Nicholson says there’s great interest in the theme (audio file attached):

The exhibition is also open from 11am-5pm on Saturday and Sunday.
