Hospice for children raises awareness

by isleofman.com 21st September 2008
Rebecca House in Braddan is taking part in National Hospice week which starts today.

The Manx Children's Hospice has several events planned, to raise awareness of the vital work they do.

They include an 'open house' and an information stand in the main shopping area in Douglas.

Rebecca House provides specialist care for seriously ill children on the Island, some of whom would previously have been cared for in UK hospitals.

Margaret Simpson is chief executive of Isle of Man Hospice (audio file attached):

The 'open house' is next Friday (September 26), from 11am until 7pm.
