Family History exhibition

by isleofman.com 22nd September 2008
Today’s (Sunday) the final chance to visit the Isle of Man Family History Society’s annual exhibition.

'Home and Away' focuses on the various occupations locals had and the stories behind some of their emigrations.

Society secretary Pat Nicholson says there’ll also be a number of displays and memorabilia and a chance to research and trace your family tree (audio file attached):

The exhibition, at Castletown Civic Centre, is open from 11 o’clock until 5pm today (Sunday).
