Main burst in Shore Road

by isleofman.com 22nd September 2008
A water main has burst in Shore Road, Port St Mary.

Water Authority engineers are on site and have isolated the burst, which has interrupted the water supplies to seven properties in the area.

It's also led to flooding on both carriageways on Shore Rd Gansey on the Douglas side of its junction with Kentraugh Back Road this morning (Monday).

The Authority says once supplies are re-instated some customers will experience discoloured supplies. If you're affected, you should run the cold tap in the kitchen until the water runs clear.

Customers who require further assistance are advised to phone the Water Authority on 695999.
