Initiative tackles criminal damage

Targeting offenders, protecting victims and securing locations where vandalism is likely to occur.

Those are the main focuses of a new police initiative, tackling criminal damage, which has been launched in Douglas.

It's called 'Project Snapp', which stands for Specific Neighbourhood Approach to Policing Problems.

Head of the Douglas Neighbourhood Policing Team Inspector Ken Kneale (pictured) says everybody can take preventative action to reduce the chances of becoming a victim:
