2BG gearing up for panto

The cast has been announced for this year's Christmas panto at the Gaiety Theatre.

2BG productions is staging 'Aladdin' with a cast which includes several West End stars, some of whom were on the Island earlier in the year for a highly successful production of Blood Brothers.

Paul Davies will play the title role of Aladdin, with Danny Taylor in the comedy role of Wishee Washee.
The show's director, Cameron Jack, will be the evil Abanazer, and Rebecca Giacopazzi, dance captain for 'Spamalot' in the West End, will choreograph the show.

2BG has strong local links with two of the producers, Stephen Palfreman and Ben Hartley, being Manx born and well known on the Island.

Ben says Keith Burns, who was the narrator in Blood Brothers, will enjoy the complete contrast of playing the Dame, Widow Twankey:
