by isleofman.com 23rd September 2008
The funeral will take place today (Tuesday) of David Teece.

Considered ‘one of the greatest athletes the Island has ever produced’, he died earlier this month at the age of 40, leaving wife Sandrina and children Nathan, Elliott and Carla.

The Manx record holder in the 400 metres, he represented the Isle of Man at the 1990 Commonwealth Games in Auckland.

Martin Bullock, who trained with Dave Teece and Dave McCutcheon, believes he’ll be remembered as a fantastic athlete (audio file attached):

The funeral will take place at St Mary’s Church in Douglas at 1pm this afternoon.
