Trip to Boost Japanese T.T. Plans

by isleofman.com 24th September 2008
Isle of Man T.T. winners John McGuinness, Ian Lougher and Richard "Milky" Quayle will head to Japan next month to help efforts in the Far East for a T.T. style road race.

A 30 kilometre course on Miyakejima island off the coast from Tokyo has been identified as a possible location.

The three racers will ride the circuit, meet officials and be interviewed by the media.

"Milky" Quayle says the trip coincides with a bike week, and the aim is to put pressure on the local authorities to give the project the green light:-
