Fastcraft conversion progressing well

by isleofman.com 25th September 2008
The Steam Packet says work is forging ahead on the Incat 050, its new fast craft which is due to enter service next year.

The vessel was brought 10,000 miles from Tasmania to Royal Navy dockyards in Portsmouth during the summer.

Her interior has been completed stripped out, to the point new structural supports are to be fitted.

The Steam Packet's Brian Convery says the refit will start with a blank canvas (audio file attached):

There are current pictures of the Incat 050 on Steam Packet CEO Mark Woodward's blog, at steam-packet.com
