A large section of the main road between Douglas and Peel will be closed to traffic for a time tomorrow morning.
The A1 will be out of bounds for motorists from Ballacraine to Crosby, for about 90 minutes from 10am.
It will give police time to carry out investigations following a serious accident on the route last month.
Motorists need to consider either a change to their journey time or an alternative route.
