Chief Minister Tony Brown will head an Island delegation at the 10th British Irish Council Summit at South Queensferry on the outskirts of Edinburgh in Scotland today (Friday).
Established in 1999, the council was set up to promote cooperation between
the British and Irish Governments, the devolved administrations of Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales, and Jersey, Guernsey and the Isle of Man.
Mr Brown (pictured) will be joined by Health Minister Eddie Teare, chief secretary Mary Williams and director of external relations Della Fletcher.
The meeting will be chaired by First Minister Alex Salmond.
