Air cargo service begins

A new air cargo link between the Isle of Man and Liverpool is up and running.

Janes Aviation says the week-day service will enable United Kingdom suppliers to offer 'guaranteed next day delivery' to their customers in the Island.

At the same time, residents and businesses here can rely on receiving goods at the start of the working day.

It's two years since the Island had a daily air cargo service and Janes Aviation is using a BAe 748 aircraft.

The company's Managing Director Andy Janes says it offers much greater capacity for carriers:
