Free electric blanket safety tests

by isleofman.com 29th September 2008
Electric blanket users are being urged to get them tested to ensure they don't pose a fire risk.

Safety inspections are being organised by the Isle of Man Fire and Rescue Service, at the fire stations in Ramsey, Port Erin and Douglas.

Home Affairs Minister Adrian Earnshaw (pictured) is advising everybody to go along (audio file attached):

The testing sessions will all be during the week commencing Monday, November 3, and the number to ring to make an appointment is 647303.
