Hundreds of people got up early this morning to catch a glimpse of the largest ship ever seen in Manx waters.
The QEII paid a fleeting visit to the Isle of Man as part of her farewell tour of the British Isles.
She arrived in Douglas Bay at about 7am, and within half an hour was disappearing from view around Onchan Head.
King Edward Road was unusually busy for the time of day, as dozens of photographers stood at the side of the road capturing the pride of the Cunard line, and the sunrise.
Early risers onboard the ship would have heard a recorded message from Chief Minister Tony Brown, welcoming passengers to the Island.

Passengers also received a message of welcome from the Department of Tourism and Leisure which was delivered to each of their cabins.
