Bacchas A showed why they’re champions to end Falcons’ blistering start to the season on Saturday.

Goals from Dave Kneale, Karl Moore, Kelly Shimmin, James Wright and Sharon Pope fired them to a 5-3 win to end Falcons’ 100 per cent record in the Mixed Hockey Premier League.

Kim Carney (two) and Karen Faragher were the Falcons’ scorers.

Valkyrs A sealed an important 3-1 win at Ramsey A, thanks to goals from Gareth Morris, Neil Jacobs and Russ Miller.

Sarah Breen was on target for Ramsey.

A double from Chris Evans, and one apiece from Richard Le Page and Eric Critchley, fired Bacchas B to a 4-1 win over Phoenix A
