More than three and a half million people have been to the Island’s heritage sites since the start of the millennium.
The figures are revealed today in one of two reports about Manx National Heritage.
As well as the organisation’s annual report, there’s a detailed document looking at its work over the last eight years.
Chairman Martin Moore (pictured) says it’s a pleasing review:
"We are very grateful for government support over those years, and the Friends of Manx National Heritage have also been able to assist us with projects which had public demand.
"The new publications detail the work which we at MNH have done over this significant period, which has been supported by our visitors.
"The organisation does its regular work, but we had these ongoing projects with the community and we have support for those from both Manx residents and from our visitors ... because it's important that the people in the Island and our visitors know the importance of our history and heritage."
