Island prepares for royal visit

A member of the Royal Family will be visiting the Isle of Man next week.

His Royal Highness The Duke of York will carry out a number of engagements on Friday, October 17.

He will visit the premises of Swagelock in Tromode, speak at a business lunch, and open a new training centre at Manhattan Aviation at the Ronaldsway Freeport.

His Royal Highness will also be shown round the Emergency Services Joint Control Room in Douglas.
