The Department of Local Government and the Environment wants to hear from anybody who owns land in the south of the Island and is thinking of developing it.
The government is putting together the Southern Area Plan and is inviting submissions from landowners and developers.
Suggestions will go to the planning policy team which will decide what should go into the plan.
The team will assess all the sites put forward to see which should be included in the draft plan, due out early next year.
But time is running out to fill in the site identification forms and submit them, with the deadline on October 24.
DoLGE says identifying land which is suitable for employment or residential purposes is a crucial element of the area strategy.
When it’s complete the plan will form a blueprint for Rushen, Port Erin, Port St Mary, Arbory, Castletown and Malew.
