Firemen tow car from river

by isleofman.com 8th October 2008
Fire officers towed a car from the Silverburn River, after it became stuck in the fast flowing water at the Rushen Abbey ford, at lunchtime today.

The woman driver was helped from the vehicle by a passer-by, before they arrived.

The officers found the vehicle with the water halfway up the door.

They secured lines and towed it from the river.
