No election in Ramsey

by isleofman.com 8th October 2008
There’s been a distinct lack of interest in filling a vacant seat on the Board of Education in Ramsey.

By the deadline for nominations at noon yesterday, none had been received.

It means there won't be an election, and the Department of Education will now try to fill the seat by inviting nominations to the Board.

The Board will meet to select and ratify the appointment in due course.
