Today's 7.30am Steam Packet sailing to Liverpool and 11.15am return trip have been cancelled, because of bad weather and a severe gale warning.
The company says due to the high number of bookings it is not possible to accomodate all Viking passengers on the Ben-my-Chree sailings to Heysham.
People booked on the Viking (pictured) were being contacted so they could make alternative arrangements.
Saturday's Viking sailings are expected to run as scheduled.
