Three-way battle hots up

What’s fast developing into a three-way battle to become the first ever winners of the Mixed Hockey Premier League continued on Saturday.

Falcons won the match of the day against Ramsey.

Their 5-2 success was secured with goals by Dave Millward (two), Kim Carney (two) and Andrew Harding with the prolific Ollie Webster netting both for Ramsey.

Meanwhile, champions Bacchas A were 4-1 winners over their B side, whose goal was scored by Richard Le Page, and Valkyrs romped to victory against bottom club Phoenix with a 14-0 demolition.
