Police investigate Mountain Road accident

by isleofman.com 13th October 2008
Police are hunting the driver of a car which didn’t stop after being involved in an accident on the Mountain Road.

The incident happened at 8pm last night (Sunday) at the Bungalow after a silver Peugeot 206 travelling from Ramsey collided with a red motorcycle.

Both vehicles were damaged and the bike rider was taken to Noble’s Hospital with slight injuries.

Immediately afterwards, another car travelling towards Ramsey hit the bike as it lay in the road and failed to stop.

Police say there’s a legal responsibility for everybody to stop after being involved in a collision or to report the matter to the police as soon as possible.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police headquarters on 631212.
