The majority of Tynwald wants more information about the collapsed bank Kaupthing Singer and Friedlander.
North Douglas MHK John Houghton has collected 17 signatures, including two from the Council of Ministers, calling for the Financial Supervision Commission to keep members briefed about what's happening.
Mr Houghton (pictured) believes more people would have signed the petition if he had been able to access them.
