All retailers will undergo inspections before they can sell fireworks in a bid to minimise the risks associated with them.
The visits will be carried out by the Office of Fair Trading, Isle of Man Constabulary, the Fire and Rescue Service and the Department of Home Affairs, as part of this year's Fireworks Safety Campaign.
