Cabaret opener postponed

by isleofman.com 16th October 2008
It's been confirmed the opening performance of Cabaret at the Gaiety Theatre has been postponed.

The run of shows, starring Sam Barks, was due to get under way on Monday, March 2nd but has been put back to the following afternoon because of what are described as "unavoidable operational issues" encountered by Bill Kenwright Productions.

Manx Radio understands the issues are something to do with the company's ferry bookings.

A statement from the Villa Marina and Gaiety Complex says none of the other 17 performances are affected and the vast majority of ticket holders have been contacted and given new seats for other performances.

Those who haven't been already will be by the end of the week.
