Audit won't affect post office

by isleofman.com 16th October 2008
There are reassurances an audit of Port St Mary Post Office won't affect the service offered to the community, nor will the ongoing investigations.

The message has come from Isle of Man Post after Rushen MHK Phil Gawne wrote to them saying the store was a vital part of the village's community and must be maintained.

The Post Office was audited last Thursday at the request of the sub-postmaster.

A statement from Isle of Man Post says further enquiries are now being made as a result.
