Good numbers expected for 2011

The Isle of Man is now the official host nation for the Commonwealth Youth Games.

The symbol of the event, a small pewter bowl called a quaich, was handed over to Manx organisers at the end of competition in Pune, India.

Chairman of the 2011 Organising Committee Geoff Karran says they received a great response from other countries at the closing ceremony:-
