Minister 'appalled' by attitude to police

Tynwald has unanimously backed the annual report of Chief Constable Mike Langdon.

The vote came at the end of a far reaching debate, which lasted three hours.

One issue raised was the lack of respect shown to police officers.

Home Affairs Minister Adrian Earnshaw (pictured) said he was appalled by present attitudes:
