Saturday Sport under Weather Threat

by isleofman.com 23rd October 2008
This weekend's Manx sport programme could be hit by yet more bad weather.

A repeat or worse of todays windy conditions and heavy rain is forecast for Saturday.

Because of the unsettled prospects, all Hockey fixtures could be postponed on health and safety grounds - the association will make a final decision by tomorrow lunchtime.

The Football programme could also suffer with any further rain falling on already saturated grounds.

And if travel on and off the island is afftected - Vagabonds, Douglas and Ramsey could be without National League Rugby matches.
