Dog by-laws are too strict - MHK

An Douglas MHK says dog by-laws in the capital need to be relaxed.

East Douglas member Brenda Cannell has been speaking following Tynwald approval of an amendment to regulations.

She says many of her constituents have told her they feel the rules are unfair and, following yesterday's debate a delegation of Douglas MHKs will meet members of the town council to see what can be done.

Mrs Cannell believes the new by-laws are too strict (audio file attached):
