Fire death in Patrick

by isleofman.com 24th October 2008
A woman has died in a fire at a property on the Patrick Road.

The 49 year-old was treated for apparent smoke inhalation at the house in the village of Patrick, but was pronounced dead at the scene.

Officers say her name won't be released until her next of kin has been informed.

The death isn't being treated as suspicious and no one else in the property was injured.

A small fire caused minor damage to one room, and was extinguished.

Emergency services were called out just before 6pm and the coroner of inquests has been informed of the death.
